Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that if access to holy sites for Palestinians is restricted or closed during the blessed month of Ramadan, there will be serious consequences.
According to international news agencies, during a press conference with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warned the Zionist state that if Palestinians are prevented from accessing holy sites or if these sites are closed during the holy month, there will be grave consequences. He said that they have already conveyed their messages clearly to relevant parties to prevent provocations.
President Erdoğan emphasized that Israeli settlements are the biggest obstacle to the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli issue. He condemned the extremist Israeli politicians’ demands to restrict or block Palestinians’ access to sacred sites, including Masjid al-Aqsa.
