Gaza: Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated on Tuesday that during intense fighting in Gaza, 24 Israeli soldiers were killed in a single day.
According to sources, 21 Israeli occupying soldiers died in an explosion in central Gaza on Monday as two buildings, mined for demolition, collapsed following an attack by Palestinian resistance fighters. The soldiers were targeted after grenades were fired at a nearby tank. Additionally, three soldiers were killed in a separate attack in southern Gaza on the same day, bringing the total casualties to 24. Since the start Israeli ground offensive in Gaza on October 31, at least 217 soldiers have been killed while the total death toll since October 7 has reached 552.
The IDF has revealed the names of the Israeli soldiers killed in the fighting in southern Gaza, which includes Matan Lazar, Hadar Kapeluk, Sergey Gontmaherr, Elkana Yehuda Sfez, Yoval Lopez, Ariel Mordechay Wollfstal, Yoav Levi, Nicholas Berger, Cydrick Garin, Rafael Elias Mosheyoff, Barak Haim Ben Valid, Nir Binyamin, Ahmad Abu Latif, Elkana Vizel, Israel Socol, Zegeye Daniel Kasau, Sagi Idan, Mark Kononovich, Itamar Tal, Adam Bismut, Shay Biton Hayun.
It is worth noting that in the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks in Gaza have resulted in a tragic toll, with numerous Palestinians killed and injured. The besieged southern city of Khan Younis has witnessed dozens of reported fatalities as Israeli forces target vital facilities such as hospitals, ambulances, and schools, where thousands of civilians seek refuge. The overall toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 has reached at least 25,490 people, including 10,800 children and 7,250 women, with an additional 63,354 individuals sustaining injuries.
