Lahore: When will the first day of Ramadan be observed in Pakistan? Astronomers have provided a possible date.
According to astronomers, the first day of Ramadan, or 1st Ramadan al-Mubarak, is likely to be on March 11th. However, the final announcement of the date will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after the sighting of the moon.
Muslims around the world will welcome the month of Ramadan in March, making it the first time in 26 years that Ramadan al-Mubarak is falling in the winter months.
Astronomers mentioned that starting from 2024, Ramadan will continue to occur in the winter season. However, for the initial two years, the final days of Ramadan will fall in the spring season. After that, until 2031, Ramadan al-Mubarak will occur in the winter season, and then from 2039, it will return to the autumn season.
Based on astronomical calculations, astronomers have indicated the possibility of the first day of Ramadan in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf countries being on March 11th.
