Islamabad: Following the resolution of recent tensions between Pakistan and Iran, the ambassadors of both countries will return to their posts from January 26th.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the ambassadors of both countries will resume their positions on January 26th. The Pakistani ambassador in Tehran will resume his responsibilities, while the Iranian ambassador in Pakistan will also return on January 26th.
In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), celebrating the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Pakistan’s ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, stated, “I am so delighted that leaderships of both 🇵🇰 and 🇮🇷 so deftly handled a challenging moment astutely- swiftly putting relations back on track.”

After the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian will visit Pakistan on January 29th upon the invitation of the Pakistani government. During his visit, he will hold significant meetings, including with the Foreign Minister, addressing important matters.
