New Delhi: A cricket enthusiast collapsed and died due to a heart attack during a cricket match in the city of Noida, India.
According to Indian media, the deceased individual, Vikas Negi, was an engineer who was immediately transferred to the hospital after falling on the pitch. However, doctors confirmed his death upon reaching the hospital.
According to reports, the police conducted a post-mortem in which doctors identified the cause of death as a heart attack.
As per media reports, the person named Vikas had previously been diagnosed with the coronavirus but had recovered and maintained good health. He was a cricket enthusiast, often engaging in the sport to stay fit.
