New Delhi: In India, the Hindutva members belonging to extremist Hindu groups of RSS, BJP, VHP, and Bajrang Dal desecrated the Holy Quran in the state of Jharkhand.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, a wave of sorrow and anger has spread among Muslims over a tragic incident in the Indian state of Jharkhand where members affiliated with the fanatical Hindutva groups, including RSS, BJP, VHP, and Bajrang Dal, desecrated and set fire to the pages of the Holy Quran.
The incident took place near Fatehpur Bazar mosque in the Jamtara district, with the perpetrators aiming to provoke religious tensions ahead of the upcoming state elections.
The incident came to light when Muslim children went to play cricket in the field near the mosque, and they discovered the burnt pages of the Quran. They immediately informed the mosque’s Imam about the heartbreaking situation.
A large number of Muslims gathered in the field, and emotions ran high. However, the mosque’s Imam instructed people to control their emotions, gathered evidence, and then proceeded to the police station.
Upon the mosque’s Imam’s request, the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. The Imam of the mosque stated that this incident appears to be an attempt by anti-social elements to disrupt social harmony and damage brotherhood.
