Occupied Jerusalem: According to reports from international news agencies, the occupying Israeli forces are actively involved in open theft and looting in areas affected and devastated after attacks and bombings on Palestinians in Gaza.
According to a report issued by the Geneva-based Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory, an international human rights organization, the Zionist state of Israel’s occupying forces have initiated a series of looting during raids, arrests, and looting of homes and other locations of Palestinians in the affected and devastated areas in Gaza.
The organization states that Israeli forces are systematically engaged in looting, stealing valuables, including gold, cash (including dollars), mobile phones, and laptops, during organized operations. Based on preliminary estimates from documentary evidence, widespread looting by the Israeli forces has been identified, including theft of personal belongings of Palestinian civilians and extensive looting of valuable properties. The amount acquired through looting could exceed several million dollars.
“The Israeli army has unleashed its soldiers in the Gaza Strip to not only kill, but to engage in immoral activities such as property theft and looting during raids on Palestinian civilian homes,”, revealed Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor on Friday.
According to the report, Israeli forces intentionally shared video clips on social media platforms, depicting the destruction of homes in the streets of Gaza and displaying racist or Jewish chants on walls. Israeli forces have even admitted deliberately looting and causing damage to properties on their social media accounts.
