Gaza: 300 More Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Attacks

Gaza Strip: In Gaza, Israel’s intense attacks have led to the martyrdom of over 300 more Palestinians, including two more journalists, amidst severe bombings in residential areas and around hospitals. Over the past two days, 22 Israeli soldiers have also lost their lives in clashes with Hamas.

Israeli forces have ordered the residents of Gaza to move to shelters in central Gaza, while in Rafah near the Kuwaiti hospital, a residential building was targeted in Israeli airstrikes, resulting in casualties, including women and children.

In the regions of Beit Lahia, Khan Yunis, and Al-Maghazi, more than 50 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli airstrike, with hundreds wounded. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, near Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, attacks near Al-Aqsa Hospital resulted in at least 10 Palestinians martyred and over 12 wounded.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that its personnel observed tens of thousands of Palestinians forced to move from central Gaza and Khan Younis areas to avoid Israeli attacks.

Meanwhile,  In the Israeli attacks and raids in the West Bank, 2 Palestinians were martyred, 25 were arrested, money exchange shops were raided, and 2.7 million dollars were seized.“WHO is extremely concerned this fresh displacement of people will further strain health facilities in the south, which are already struggling to meet the population’s immense needs.

On the other hand, in retaliation to Israeli aggression, successful counterattacks by Hamas continue. Hamas resistance fighters have killed 22 Israeli soldiers in the past two days. Drones from Syria targeted areas in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, and drones and missile attacks also targeted Israeli territories.

Hamas has appealed to the world for widespread protests from December 29th to 31st, condemning Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians. The Hamas spokesperson emphasized the need for global condemnation against the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7th, the Israeli onslaught on Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of 22,520 Palestinian civilians, with 55,603 individuals severely injured. More than half of those killed by the Israeli forces are women and children. Over 8,800 children and more than 6,300 women have been martyred in relentless Israeli attacks. Furthermore, over 1.8 million people from the Gaza Strip have been displaced out of its total population of 2.3 million.

Among those martyred in Israeli bombings, there are 311 members of medical staff and 105 journalists. Additionally, 40 personnel from the Civil Defense have also lost their lives.
