Gaza Strip: In Gaza, Israel’s intense attacks have led to the martyrdom of over 300 more Palestinians, including two more journalists, amidst severe bombings in residential areas and around hospitals. Over the past two days, 22 Israeli soldiers have also lost their lives in clashes with Hamas.
Israeli forces have ordered the residents of Gaza to move to shelters in central Gaza, while in Rafah near the Kuwaiti hospital, a residential building was targeted in Israeli airstrikes, resulting in casualties, including women and children.
In the regions of Beit Lahia, Khan Yunis, and Al-Maghazi, more than 50 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli airstrike, with hundreds wounded. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, near Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, attacks near Al-Aqsa Hospital resulted in at least 10 Palestinians martyred and over 12 wounded.
Hamas has appealed to the world for widespread protests from December 29th to 31st, condemning Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians. The Hamas spokesperson emphasized the need for global condemnation against the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7th, the Israeli onslaught on Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of 22,520 Palestinian civilians, with 55,603 individuals severely injured. More than half of those killed by the Israeli forces are women and children. Over 8,800 children and more than 6,300 women have been martyred in relentless Israeli attacks. Furthermore, over 1.8 million people from the Gaza Strip have been displaced out of its total population of 2.3 million.
Among those martyred in Israeli bombings, there are 311 members of medical staff and 105 journalists. Additionally, 40 personnel from the Civil Defense have also lost their lives.
