Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has likened Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Hitler.
According to international news agencies, President Erdogan, while criticizing the Israeli Zionist Prime Minister Netanyahu, particularly for the ongoing bombings in Palestine, especially in Gaza, stated that there is no difference between Adolf Hitler and Netanyahu.
President Erdogan drew parallels between the continuous Israeli attacks on Gaza and the Nazi treatment of Jews, saying that while these people express hatred for Hitler and condemn him, they themselves are not much different from Hitler. He questioned, “Is what this Netanyahu is doing any less than what Hitler did? It is not.”
Erdogan further stated, “He is richer than Hitler, he gets the support from the West,”. He said the United States supports Israel in every aspect, leading to Israel killing more than 20,000 people in Gaza. He pointed out that this support allows Israel to carry out atrocities with impunity.
In response to Israel’s air and ground assault on Gaza, Erdogan characterized Israel as a “terror state” and insisted that its leaders should face trial in international courts.
It is noteworthy that since the start of Israeli aggression against Gaza on October 7, the number of Palestinian martyrs has reached over 22,300. More than 54,536 individuals have been injured, including over 8,500 children and more than 6,300 women. Furthermore, around 1.8 million people from the Gaza Strip have been displaced out of its total population of 2.3 million.
Among those martyred in Israeli bombings, there are 311 members of medical staff and 103 journalists. Additionally, 40 personnel from the Civil Defense have also lost their lives.
