Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza, 169 More Palestinians Martyred

Gaza: Israeli airstrikes on Jabalia Refugee Camp, Nuseirat Refugee Camp, Sabra, Sheikh Radwan, and Rimal have resulted in the martyrdom of 169 Palestinians, including 10 members of a single family. In the recent attacks in Khan Yunis, Zionist Israeli forces targeted the al-Nasr Hospital’s Pediatric Department.

According to the Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees of the United Nations, more children and women were martyred in Gaza within 40 days than the civilian casualties in the Ukraine war. The total number of martyrs in Gaza has surpassed 19,000 since the beginning of Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7.

The Shihab family’s house in the Jabalia Camp in Gaza was also targeted, resulting in 20 people being martyred and 100 others injured. Israeli bombings also targeted neighboring houses.

Israel’s military carried out airstrikes on Sabra, Sheikh Radwan, and Rimal, causing the martyrdom of 54 civilians. Reports suggest that in the attack on Nuseirat Refugee Camp, 25 individuals, including 10 from a single family, were martyred. The hospitals in Gaza continue to receive casualties from Israeli bombings.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated in a released statement that Israel aims to completely shut down health centers in Gaza by targeting hospitals. The head of the World Health Organization condemned Israel for the destruction of the hospital, stating that eight individuals, including a 9-year-old, lost their lives due to the hospital’s inactivity.

In Rafah, powerful Israeli bombs targeted residential areas, resulting in two deaths and multiple people being severely injured. Israeli planes also launched two attacks in the southeast and southwest of Khan Yunis. Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), expressed concern, saying that the scale of destruction in Gaza is unprecedented, surpassing even the casualties in the Ukraine war.

He noted that over 60% of Gaza’s infrastructure has been destroyed, and more than 90% of the population is now homeless. In response to Israeli aggression, the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has intensified its actions. Following the ground offensive in Gaza, the number of Israeli soldiers killed has reached 121.

Meanwhile, an Israeli opposition leader has called for the resignation of Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that he has lost the trust of the people. For the first time since October 7, an aid truck from the Israeli side entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom border crossing, partially restoring transportation and internet services in Gaza, which had been cut off for four days.
