These gatherings will feature presentations on the reasons for the disintegration of the country, events leading up to it, and the aftermath.
The tragic incident of East Pakistan’s fall (Dhaka fall) occurred on December 16, 1971. In the same year, on March 26, hostilities began as a result of India’s nefarious conspiracies, leading to the separation of East Pakistan on December 16. This resulted in the creation of an independent state, Bangladesh, causing a significant loss in terms of population and territory for Pakistan.
Today marks the completion of 52 years since the fall of Dhaka, and the sinister motives and unholy ambitions of India in its events have been exposed to the world. Although 52 years have passed since the separation of East Pakistan, the wounds inflicted during that time are still fresh and painful in the hearts of many. This sorrowful chapter in the nation’s history serves as a reminder to learn from the past and remain vigilant against the machinations of enemies.
It is regrettable that even after 52 years, the country is still repeating the same mistakes on a political, social, governmental, and every other level. The nation must remember that conspiracies are being hatched in the name of the enemy’s plots and political interests to divide on political, linguistic, and regional foundations. Learning from the past, the nation must choose the right leaders for itself, and if past mistakes are not rectified through new and sincere leadership, the country’s conditions may never change.
To secure a bright future for the country in line with the principles of the founding fathers, it is imperative to elect honest and devoted leadership. The upcoming general elections provide the best opportunity for the nation to choose sincere leadership, making decisions for the betterment of themselves and the nation, ensuring a secure future for both.
