Karachi: Iran’s Taban Airline has initiated its flight operations to Pakistan. The inaugural flight, carrying more than 80 passengers, departed from Karachi to Mashhad.
The inaugural flight ceremony of Taban Airline’s Karachi to Mashhad route took place at Karachi Airport, with the special presence of Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori and the Iranian Consul General. A cake was also cut during the inaugural ceremony at Karachi Airport.
Officials from the Civil Aviation Authority and ASF (Airport Security Force) were present at the inaugural ceremony. Besides Governor Sindh, more than 80 passengers boarded the first flight.
Taban Air will initially operate one flight per week, and additional flights will be added later.
Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori stated on this occasion that Taban Air’s entry will be a new addition to the friendship between Pakistan and Iran, and it will further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
