42 PTI Activists Granted Bail, Release Ordered by ATC

Swat: The anti-terrorism court has ordered the release on bail of 42 detained activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) involved in the violation of Section 144 in the PTI Workers Convention in Khwazakhela area of Swat.

According to details, the district administration of Swat had filed cases against thousands of PTI workers and leaders for violating Section 144 in the PTI Workers Convention in Khwazakhela, where most of the workers were arrested. On the approval of bail by the Anti-Terrorism Court, the release order for 42 PTI workers has been issued.

All lawyers from the Insaf Lawyers Forum appeared in court. The detained workers included the son and nephew of former MPA Fazl Hakeem, the son of city mayor Shahid Khan, and the cousin of former MNA Saleemur Rehman.
