Islamabad: Pakistan has imposed a ban on importing wheat from India and Israel, as well as restricting wheat imports from other regions, including Ukrainian areas under Russian control, along with Cuba, Iran, Syria, and North Korea.

According to details, Pakistan has set conditions for international trading companies, disallowing the supply of wheat from both countries. Additionally, international sanctions have been imposed on the supply of wheat from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria.

A document reveals that wheat will not be procured from regions under Russian control, including Ukraine and Crimea.

In a tender for the purchase of 110,000 tons, a moisture limit of more than 14.5% has been set for wheat. The wheat is scheduled to be delivered to Gwadar or Karachi Port by February 12th through two ships.
