Cincinnati: Medical experts have obtained results in a study suggesting that if you want to improve brain health, consume strawberries.
Experts say that the most significant benefit of eating strawberries is that it reduces the risks of dementia. Researchers conducted studies on blueberries, blackberries, and other berries, and after the research, strawberries were found to be the most effective in terms of brain health.
Researchers examined individuals carrying excess weight who also faced cognitive health issues. Most were advised to abstain from consuming any berries, while others were instructed to consume strawberry powder daily.
The results of the experiment revealed that those who had consumed strawberry powder showed better performance in a memory test conducted approximately three months later, compared to others who demonstrated weaker results.
The study focused on 30 individuals between the ages of 50 and 60, with excess weight (5 men and 25 women), who had common complaints related to cognitive issues. According to doctors, this group was chosen because they were at a higher risk of dementia.
