Damascus: Hezbollah claims to have launched a rocket attack on the American military base near the Konoko Gas Field in Syria, resulting in the death of 4 American soldiers.
According to media reports, the spokesperson for Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah, alleges that at least 15 rockets were fired at the American military base, causing damage to installations in the American headquarters.
Hezbollah, while claiming the killing of 4 American soldiers in the rocket attack, stated that this strike was in response to the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza.
However, there has been no confirmation or denial from the American side regarding the casualties of their soldiers in this rocket attack by Hezbollah. Previously, the U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had confirmed American airstrikes on Hezbollah and Revolutionary Guard positions.
It is noteworthy that Hezbollah, supported by Iran, is a powerful resistance group in Lebanon, and it assisted Hamas in its attacks on Israel. In response, Israel and the United States continue to target Hezbollah’s strongholds in Lebanon and Syria.
