Yesterday, the Israeli military released footage showing a large number of tanks, infantry, and artillery working on Palestinian land.
Calls for a ceasefire based on humanitarian grounds, global sorrow and anger, and the possibility of atrocities on Gazans have not deterred Israel from escalating the conflict. Relentless attacks are occurring on the civilian population, including residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and mosques, leading to widespread destruction.
As a result of Israeli bombings in central Gaza, the makeshift shelters for homeless people have been obliterated. Israel has also heavily bombed routes leading to Al-Quds Hospital.
The head of the surgical department at Al-Shifa Hospital has described the situation as catastrophic, mentioning that approximately 55,000 homeless individuals have taken refuge in every square meter of the hospital.
Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hageri has claimed that they have targeted 600 locations of Hamas in Gaza. He also stated that the ground operation in Gaza is being expanded, and Hamas fighters hidden in buildings have been eliminated during the operations.
