We shut down congress to draw mass attention to the U.S. complicity in Israel's ongoing oppression of Palestinians. But our work isn't done. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/1aQf15Xx0D

The so-called flag bearer of freedom of expression, America has once again provided proof for its pro-Israeli stance by arresting demonstrators protesting against Israeli use of brutal force against Gaza and for the rights of thousands of Palestinians who have been martyred in Israeli bombings. The protest’s slogan was “Not in our name.”
The anti-war group, “Jewish Voice for Peace,” organized a protest under the banner “Not in Our Name.” The participants wore shirts with this slogan and demonstrated in the U.S. Congress building, chanting slogans and holding banners against the ongoing hostilities, urging them to stop the war due to the increasing casualties in Gaza.
It was reported on the social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), that approximately 10,000 people protested against the Israeli attacks on the streets of Washington.
