A union of 34 student groups from Harvard University has issued a letter condemning the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, expressing their support for the rights of Palestinians. In this statement, prominent students of the university have expressed their sorrow and outrage.
The students, who represent one of the most influential universities for United Nations policies, stated in their statement that they hold the Israeli government entirely responsible for all the violence that has occurred following decades of occupation between Palestinians and Israelis. They placed the blame for the recent clash squarely on the Israeli government’s racial discrimination.
The groups who signed this letter include a variety of backgrounds, including Muslim and Palestinian aid groups, as well as entities like Harvard Jews for Liberation and the African American Resistance Organization.
