Washington: Educational institutions in Western countries have become battlegrounds due to the rise of Hindu nationalism, with the global proliferation of extremist sentiments fostered by the Modi government.
According to international media reports, conflicts stemming from the Indian community have escalated to the point where American and Canadian universities are witnessing the emergence of a war-like atmosphere. Following the murder of prominent Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, various countries have initiated surveillance of Indian diplomats, nationalist organizations, the BJP, and RSS.
According to media reports, the Canadian Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered by Indian secret agents at a time when Indian agents were actively working amidst rising Hindu nationalist issues within the overseas Indian community.
In American and Canadian universities, Hindu nationalists are resorting to violence against Muslim and Sikh students, in addition to causing damage to mosques and gurdwaras.
It should be noted that Narendra Modi’s Hindu-first policy and the growing culture of intolerance have proliferated like an epidemic within the Indian community worldwide. This has intensified historical divisions between Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs.
