New Delhi: India has suspended visa services for Canadian citizens.
The initial screening company, BLS International, referred to the Indian mission’s notice on its website, stating that Indian visa services for Canadian citizens have been suspended until September 21, 2023, due to operational reasons.
This announcement comes amid a diplomatic dispute between the two countries, with Canada accusing India of involvement in the murder of a Sikh leader in Canada. Both nations have expelled each other’s diplomats from their respective embassies as a result of this dispute.
