Lahore: The Asia Cup 2023 tournament is set to kick off today, marking the start of thrilling cricket action among top teams in the region. The first match of the tournament will be played today.
According to official sources, the first match of the Asia Cup will be played at Multan Stadium between Pakistan and Nepal at 2:30 p.m. (PKT). In this regard, the PCB has announced an 11-member squad. According to the announcement, Babar Azam will lead the team, while Shadab Khan will serve as the vice-captain.
Other players in the squad include Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf.
