Army Chief General Asim Munir has assured the caretaker government of complete cooperation for economic revival. The caretaker prime minister, Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, chaired a meeting of the apex committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, attended by the Army Chief, the caretaker cabinet, high-ranking officials, and senior leaders.
According to the issued statement, the participants in the meeting received briefings from the caretaker Prime Minister and military authorities on investment in various sectors and investment in the ministries of food security, IT, and minerals. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Special Investment Facilitation Council and gave directions to expedite the completion of the proposed projects.
The caretaker Prime Minister has declared the Special Investment Council as a journey towards national progress. He stated that the country’s economic conditions can be improved through foreign investment, and it is the government’s responsibility to provide a conducive environment and facilities for investors, for the first time, a vision for the country’s economy is being presented.
On this occasion, Army Chief General Asim Munir affirmed complete cooperation with the caretaker government for economic revival.
