Islamabad: Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has said that the world should recognize Pakistan’s immense sacrifices.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, a group of 38 students from various countries affiliated with the American Harvard University met Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ). On this occasion, the Army Chief discussed the importance and the role of the Pakistan Army regarding issues facing regional security and establishing peace and stability.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan is playing a strong role against terrorism, and the global community should recognize the immense sacrifices given by Pakistan. During the interactive session, the Commander highlighted Pakistan’s full capabilities and urged the participants to see Pakistan through the lens of their experiences during their stay in Pakistan.
He also shed light on the human rights violations and attempts to change facts in occupied Kashmir. The students appreciated the Army Chief for providing the opportunity for discussion.
