Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir has stated that terrorists, their facilitators, and abettors will not be spared, and those working on the agenda of the country’s enemies will be hunted down; they will have to surrender before the state.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the Sherwangi area near Asman Manza in South Waziristan. ISPR reported that six soldiers had embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting terrorists in Sherwangi the previous day. ISPR stated that the Army Chief was briefed on current intelligence operations and anti-terrorism activities. He was also briefed on the current security situation.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief met with appointed officers and troops in the area and praised their unwavering determination in the fight against terrorism. On this occasion, the Army Chief said, “Our martyrs are our pride. The sacrifices of martyrs for peace and security in Pakistan will not go in vain, and Pakistan will return to complete peace and stability.” He emphasized that terrorists, their facilitators, and abettors will not be spared, and they will have to surrender before the state.
