Attock: Inspector General of Prison, Jail Khana Jat, Mian Farooq Nazir, has stated that the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is in the custody of District Jail Attock and is being provided facilities according to the jail manual.
As per IG Farooq Nazir, Chairman PTI has been provided with amenities including a cooler, a charpai (traditional woven bed), a fan, a bed mattress, a pillow, a table, and two chairs. He has also been placed in a separate cell due to security reasons.
According to media reports, Farooq Nazir informed that the cleaning and sanitization of the former Prime Minister’s barrack has been fully arranged, and all necessary medical facilities are also being provided.
He further mentioned that in accordance with the law, proper meals are being provided under the supervision of doctors. The jail manual and law ensure all essential facilities, and as per the Jail Manual, the facility of meeting with lawyers and family members is also available.
