New York: Pakistani-American businessman Dilawar Syed has been appointed as the Deputy Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) by American President Joe Biden.
His nomination was approved by the American Senate yesterday with 54 votes in favor and 42 against. After the Senate’s approval, Dilawar Syed has taken the oath of his office.

The Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA), Isabel Guzman, administered the oath to him. Dilawar Syed, who comes from the state of California in the United States, was previously serving as a Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs at the U.S. State Department.
