Opposition parties reject JC to probe Panama Leaks

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah has rejected the judicial commission to probe Panama Leaks, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

During ongoing National Assembly’s session, Khursheed Shah rejected PM’s offer to form a judicial commission under retired judge and filed an adjournment motions on Panama Leaks have also been submitted by the opposition.

The government has also agreed to discuss adjournment motion which was presented by Federal Minister Zahid Hamid. After which NA Speaker allowed NA session to discuss Panama Leaks issue under the light of rules 259.

Khurshid Shah said that Panama Leaks issue has not been raised by media or opposition itself, but has been raised internationally. He also said that this matter will not abolish but will lead to its logical end after proper investigation.

The Opposition Leader said that Prime Minister (PM)’s address has raised many questions as no one knows who has forced him to do so and that the opposition has rejected investigation by judicial commission.

He demanded to go for an audit from international company in this matter. He also said that judges will not probe into the case even after 3 years as they do not know about audit but criminal law as judges have nothing to do with audit.
