List of Pakistanis indicted through Panama Leaks

PANAMA: International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) received 11.5 million leaked documents from the Panama based law related firm indicting thousands of law makers, politicians, businessmen, artists and others in fraudulent and tax evasion practices.

A huge scandal around the globe since the 2.6 terra byte data is still to be verified again has already instigated hatred against several country heads and popular actors such as Bollywood king Amitabch Bachan. However, Pakistan has been no different.

A total of 220 Pakistanis are said to be revealed through these documents however ICIJ has only revealed some parts of the files and more would come in May 2016. So far from the data collected since 1977, has revealed Pakistani activity after 1990.

Pakistani Politicians in Panama Leaks:

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is in trouble due to 9 companies under the Sharif family name. People indicted through these files are;
Hassan Nawaz
Hussain Nawaz
Maryam Nawaz

Similarly more directly related to Punjab Chief Minister and brother of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s family through 7 companies.
Samina Durrani
Ilyas Mehraj

Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had only One company in the leak however her close relatives and others have been indicted for more, listed as following;

PPP Senator Rehman Malik (1 company)
PPP Senator Osman Saifullah’s family (34 companies)

Chaudharies of Gujrat have also not been indicted in person however the following list of relatives surfaced:

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) have decided to initiate an inquiry into the Pakistanis involved in the Panama Paper leaks. Top NAB officials are discussing the matter and a full scale investigation may be on the cards.
