LAHORE: Member of Fact Finding Committee and Former Pakistan Cricket Team Captain Muhammad Yusuf stated that Shahid Afridi should be proving himself as a useful player before he is given another chance in the team.
He said that Shahid Afridi has been performing very poorly both as a bowler and batsman therefore he should be laid off for a season to play first class cricket and improve his performance. It is not only going to be beneficial for the team but also for Afridi himself.

He said that Afridi is a strong player and non of the young players would be able to replace him and keep him out of the team but the need of the hour is to play first class cricket before jumping back on the international pitches.
Whereas,former Captain Rameez Raja stated that Pakistan Cricket Board should now take a strict stance on fitness and discipline before things get worst again.
