KARACHI: Star Cricket player and Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Shahid Khan Afridi has stepped down from captaincy due to heavy pressure.
In his press release Afridi thanking the nation stated that he is leaving Captaincy hereafter. He had been facing severe pressure due to the latest humiliation in World T20 Cup.
He said that he was honoured to lead Pakistan Cricket Team through different format and would like to continue as a players in the team.
He also thanked Pakistan Cricket Board and Chairman Shaharyar Khan in his statement and expressed that he would be honored to continue working for Paksitan’s success in future events.
