Mustafa Kamal: Hang me if Qaimkhani, Siddiqui found guilty in Baldia incident

LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s disgruntled leader and former City Mayor of Karachi Mustafa Kamal defended MQM member Hammad Siddiqui by stating that sector incharges do not indulge in committing crimes such as murder and that someone outside the country is operating the foreign trained operatives as murderers and agents.

Kamal while talking to Dunya TV’s program ‘On The Front,’ stated that it is being said that some members went to India for training purposes but this is no accurate explanation as there is evidence available regarding this claim.

He further added that he cannot name the party leaders who are aware of this claim as they will accuse him of lying but he shall be speaking the truth.

When asked about his former party fellow Dr. Farooq Sattar, Kamal stated that the challenge imposed by Sattar is an odd one as he has been here for only three days and Sattar is already talking about an election challenge. He said that Dr.

Farooq Sattar is an innocent man who conveys whatever is taught to him. “I hope Farooq does not place me in a situation where I would have to utter more truth” he said.

He said that one must ask the off-camera reality about the party chief from those who keep praising him. He also said that he and Qaimkhaani did not make any contacts to any political parties for any affiliations but thousands of individuals have contacted him regarding the party membership.

He said that the purpose of making the national flag of Pakistan as the official flag of the party was to show respect towards all.
