DUBAI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) likely to appoint former star all-rounder Azhar Mahmood as bowling coach of Pakistan cricket team, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to reports, Azhar Mahmood will replace current bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed before International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 Cricket World Cup, 2016.
Mushtaq Ahmed will likely to appoint as head coach of National Cricket Academy (NCA). The post of NCA is vacant as Mohammad Akram resigned from his post.
Source told that PCB is also is mulling to appoint all-time batting legend Sir Viven Richard as batting coach of Pakistan cricket team.
He can initially be appointed for two major assignments of Asia Cup T20 and World Twenty20 starting from next month in India.
Sources have also revealed that PCB has already asked ICC for permission make changes in management.
