Five bombs defused in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Five bombs were defused near Jamil Chowk in Peshawar, Capital of Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Pakistan on Thursday, The NewsTribe.com reported.

The bombs were placed underneath a fly over in the area. The bomb disposal squad was called after receiving information pertaining to the blasts. The squad defused the bomb through the use of robots.

According to officials all bombs were between 3-4 KG and both were remote control devices.

Security officials said that the terrorist was planning a major attack like the one at Army Public School in Peshawar that left 150 people dead, most of them children.
