Shehzad , Sohaib likely to be dropped for third NZ T20

WELLINGTON: Pakistan opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad and middle order batsman Sohaib Maqsood are likely to be dropped for the third and final Twenty20 (T20) match between Pakistan and New Zealand.

Both the batsmen had failed to leave an impact on selectors in first two games as Ahmed Shehzad made 16 and 9 runs in first two games while Sohaib had scored naught and 18 in respective matches.

According to latest reports from Pakistan camp, tour selection committee is pondering over to drop both out of form batsman and include Anwer Ali and Amir Yamin in replacement.

The third t20 between Green Shirts and black Caps will be played on Friday, January 22.

The series is so far balanced with 1-1 win for each side.
