Swine Flue: Death toll reaches 6 in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: One more swine flue patient, 87-year-old Syed Hassan passed away in Rawalpindi this morning which took death toll of due to this deadly disease to 6 in the city, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

Syed Hassan was shifted to the hospital after he was tested positive for H1N1 virus one week ago.

EDO Health claimed that the patient had recovered from the disease but he has died due to asthma and allergy.

On the other hand, Punjab Government has alerted the hospitals due to rising swine flu cases across the province. After which, dengue ward of Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi has been converted into swine flu ward.
