Rain exposes LESCO’s performance over 50 feeders trip in Lahore

LAHORE: A large part of the city was steeped in darkness as more than 50 feeders tripped, owing to the rain that lasted for a few hours in the city, ARY News reported.

The rain, which started on Tuesday evening, exposed LESCO’s performance. A few hours of rain caused more than 50 feeders in the city to trip, plunging the city in darkness.

 Punjab University New Campus, majority areas of Firozpur Road, Kot Lakhpat, Thokar Niaz Beg, Badami Bagh Garhi Shahu and Dharampura areas including several others, were without electricity.

The rain caused temperature in Lahore to drop. According to the Met Department, the city received 3.4 milliliter rain. The temperature, according to weather reporters, was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius.
