ISLAMABAD: Islamabad United is the only team of Pakistan Super League that gave tough time to Javed Afridi’s Peshawar Zalmi on social media as United grabbed 500000 likes on Facebook official page after Khpal Team but now both franchises start targeting the players of opponent teams, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Islamabad United started to compare their team with the stars of other PSL franchises. According to post updated by Islamabad United’s media team, best Test captain of Pakistan cricket Misbah ul Haq is more reliable than the Boom Boom Afridi, who holds the record of highest sixes in a career.
On official FB page of Islamabad United a picture was uploaded under the title “Clash of Style” and mention the highest scores of both Pakistan stars.
According to post, Misbah scored 107 runs in a inning while Afridi scored just 80 runs in his career best inning in T20 formate. This question put big question mark on performance of Lala but Zalmi came with a bang and slapped the performance of Misbah ul Haq and remind the inning of King Misbal when he failed to hit monster hit to lift the trophy in final of cricket world cup 2007 against India.
Peshawar Zalmi media team also taunted that Boom Boom finished the unfinished job of 2007 and bring another world cup trophy to land of pure after 1992 cricket world cup.
