Afridi, Shehzad’s video at McDonald’s gone viral on social media

AUCKLAND: Skipper of Pakistan T20 team Shahid Afridi and opener Ahmed Shehzad reached McDonald’s at Auckland airport without having no local currency.

Pakistani cricket fan reportedly rescued cricket stars by paying the bill. Video shared by TVNZ shows the fan, who maintained his identity as Waqas Naveed, expressing his happiness over ‘welcoming’ the Pakistani cricket team in New Zealand.

Naveed is seen saying that he will go to stadium to support Pakistani side on January 15 where they will face New Zealand in first T20 game, in the video.  Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shehzad can also be seen along with Waqas Naveed, who is probably paying instead of two cricketers, in the video
