Team management angry with PCB officials, sources

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket team management seems angry with Pakistan Cricket Board officials over the releasing of 8 players for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy from ongoing training camp organized for upcoming New Zealand tour.
Sources have revealed that Team management had expressed its concerns over the releasing of 8 players from camp as they are regular members of Pakistan T20 side but Board ignored it and released the players.

Team management was of the opinion that they cannot sacrifice international fitness camp for domestic match.

Earlier Yesterday Pakistan Cricket Board had decided to release 8 Pakistan team members from fitness camp so that they can participate in Quaid-e-Azam trophy which is going to be played between United Bank Limited (UBL) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL).

Players who were released from camp included Azhar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Rumman Raees, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Sohai Maqsood.
