MARDAN: Death toll has raised as at least 16 people were killed and 47 injured in a bomb blast at National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office Mardan, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
DIG MardanMardan Suidcide B;a has said that it was a suicide attack, where Interior Minister Chaudhary has asked for Blast report as soon as possible.
Huge crowd was gathered inside the NADRA office at the time of blast due to which loss is increasing as the time is passing.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chairman PTI imra Khan and many other political figures have condemned the Mardan blast.
Rescue teams rushed to blast site immediately and injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital.
The blast took place when a large number of people were present on the site. Officials fear increase in number of casualties as many of the injured were in critical condition.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area following the blast.
