KARACHI: Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Asim Hussain was presented in Anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to initial details, Doctor Asim was presented in the ATC court number 2 in high security. Judge of ATC, Khalida Yaseen sent Asim Hussain to jail.
During hearing lawyer of Asim Hussain failed to get bail for his client. Court gave the judicial remand of former petroleum minister.
During hearing, former minister requested that do not give in custody of National Accountability Bureau. “I faced 126 days in custody,” he said.
Doctor Asim Hussaim will present before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court on Wednesday. Earlier on Monday,
Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party Moula Bakhsh Chandio said that Doctor Asim Hussain was facing fake corruption case.
It depends upon family of Doctor Asim Hussain whether they challenge the verdict or not. Moula Bakhsh Chandio said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is not happy with the decision of court.
He also said that PPP always struggle for the democracy in the country. ” I swear there is no corruption on me,” he said.
