LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday released the name list of players for opening edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) placed in platinum category.
According to list, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Misbah ul Haq, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hafeez, Younis Khan and Mohammad Irfan placed in platinum category.
Seven Pakistani players were placed in superior category while 18 overseas players managed to put their name in platinum category.
The overseas players who are included in the platinum category include Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Dwayne Bravo, Darren Sammy, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Smith, Shane Watson, Brad Haddin, Mahela Jayawardene, Kumar Sangakkara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews, Kevin Pietersen, James Anderson, Ian Bell and Alastair Cook.
Theses 25 players will be presented to the six teams of PSL.
