MUMBAI: Career of Indian star bowler Harbhajan Singh was saved by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as they ruled out report of spinner’s suspected bowling action.

According to reports, Bhajji’s bowling action was reported in 2014 during Vijay Hazare Trophy in Gujrat. Fieled umpires reported the bowling action of Harabhajan Singh and sent the report to match referee and Punjab Sports Association but BCCI saved the career of Harbhajan and stopped the investigation.

Earlier in an interview with a local TV channel on Monday, magician spinner Saeed Ajmal lashed at ICC for not scrutinizing Indian chuckers like Harbhajan SIngh and Ravi Chandara Ashwin, despite conflicted action.

Ajmal said ICC keeps a close eye at Pakistan bowlers and as soon as any Pakistani bowler performs, he gets ban from ICC.

“I’m highly disappointed over why PCB did not fight my case on medical basis, had they chose for it, it would have been rather different story.”

Ajmal also critised Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) policies and said it does not support own bowlers the way it should.
