KARACHI: President and CEO of ARY News Network Salman Iqbal on Thursday purchased the Karachi team in the opening edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
An auction was held in Lahore and the bid for the Karachi team was the highest that was made for any franchise, making it the most expensive in the PSL. Many large groups participated in the bidding but ARY’s bid emerged successful.
