LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan held a brief press conference in Lahore after arriving in Pakistan.
While talking to media here in Lahore, PCB chairman said that meeting between PCB and BCCI heads was arranged by International Cricket Council (ICC) task force’s head Giles Clarke.
Giles Clarke is playing a mediator’s role between both boards.
PCB chairman went on to say that the meeting with BCCI head was rather fruitful, without disclosing inside story, Shaharyar hinted that things will be clear in next few days.
He further said that both the boards had partially agreed on Sri Lanka as a neutral venue for the series, but final decision will be taken after governments’ approval.
While talking about, Pakistan’s performance in fourth ODI, he said “disregard of huge total ahead, boys batted really well and they should be credited for it.”
