NEW YORK: Former West Indies legendary batsman Brian Charles Lara sent out a message of goodwill for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and wished them luck for their inaugural season that is supposed to start in February 2016.

Brian Lara holds the record for the highest score in a test match innings as he scored a magnificent 4008 versus England at Antigua in 2004 and that record still stands even after more than 11 years.

Lara has more than 22000 international runs and 53 centuries in an illustrious career that spanned over 17 years.

The words of Brian Lara about PSL are quoted below:-

“Hi, I just want to say all the best to the PSL, Pakistan Super League, it’s their inaugural year of the T20 tournament and I wish them all the best and all the success and they may have many more years in this league”
