ABU DHABI: Pakistani spinner Yasir Shah became fit for the third One Day International match of the four-match series against England.
According to team management, Yasir Shah recovered from minor knee injury and he will play crucial match of the series against visitors.
Earlier, Chief Selector Pakistan Cricket Board Haroon Rashid has stated that Yasir is key spinner against England, lest he could not fit before third One Day, Zafar Gohar is already there to replace him.
Chief Selector, while speaking to media in Lahore, said that England made a phenomenal comeback in second ODI which was pretty much expected.
He went on to say that Pakistan team have to work even harder to go two up in the series.
On Sunday, Yasir Shah faced knee injury during practice session. Head coach of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younus said that Yasir Shah feeled pain during practice and left ground.
Yasir Shah was awarded as man of the series in Test series against England but he also the missed the first Test match against England due to injury.
As Mohammad Hafeez is restricted to just batting and Bilal Asif, Iftikhar Ahmed failed to show impressive bowling spell, so it will be a huge loss for Pakistan if he will fail to pass fitness test before crucial match.
