ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif stopped Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to take any decision regarding Pakistan-India cricket series.
Special instructions were issued to PCB from Prime Minister House. PM issued directions to take step after the permission.
Before PM’s strict step, Federal interior Minister of Pakistan Chaudhary Nisar has stated openly that he will oppose any visit of Pakistan Cricket team to India.
According to initial details, Chaudhary Nisar said that he will oppose Pakistan’s visit to India because Indian government is backing Shiv Sena’s extremism.
He further said that he will raise this issue also before Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Earlier, Shaharyar Khan had also stated that Pakistan will not play its home series in India, India have to visit UAE for its series.
Pakistan and India are supposed to play 8 bilateral series in six years.
