KARACHI: Star player Umar Akmal on Thursday denied the all allegations imposed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Umar Akmal said they only went for dinner and back on time. He also said that he will set a meeting with chairman PCB Shahryar Khan.

“Allegations really hurt my family and my mother,” he said. Umar Akmal refused to reveal the name of other cricketer who were also part of this issue.

Earlier, Pakistan’s talented batsman Umar Akaml has been dropped from Pakistan’s Twenty 20 squad for a shameful act.

Umar Akmal has been in and out of the team for last two years due to his inconsistent performance and bad behavior. This time, he was named in initial T20 squad against England, but, dropped in final moments, why?

According to information available to TheNewsTribe.com, Umar Akmal was dropped from team on PCB chairman’s orders.

Chief Selector Haroon Rasheed also confirmed the news that he was finallised for the 15-men squad but was dropped after PCB chairman after PCB chairman ordered.

Umar, who plays from SNGPL, was in Hyderabad for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match against Hyderabad Region.

Reason of Umar Akmal’s drop is told that he was arrested by locla police during a raid in dance club, where he, former under 19 captain Azeem Ghumman and another Hyderabad Region’s player were arrested.

All three players were released on intervention of high officials.

However, SSP Hyderabad Irfan Baloch has stated that Umar Akmal was not amonfg the players who were caught from dance bar.
